Does Configur8or help with product model and pricing backups?

Yes. When correctly configured, the system will keep a "website/backup/product folder". Copies of every save of a product are stored in the backup location.

You can also back up the Graphics & Products folders manually.
For example, if you have installed to the default location, configur8or will be here:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Configur8orV5

So you would backup the following two folders:

  1. C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Configur8orV5\graphics &
  2. C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Configur8orV5\Product

All backups should also be copied to backup options that are external to the machine Configur8or is installed on, e.g.

  • Across network drives to different machine
  • to CD, DVD or Bluray
  • or Poratbale drives / USB flash devices
