Configur8or V3.0 Pro Features
Catalogue Function (Templates)
This feature allows you to load default answers to questions, based on the answer to a different question. The most common use of this is for "Catalogue" style products, that is to say where the first question is "Catalogue number" and based on the selected response, all other questions are pre-filled.
These catalogue answers can be filled from a lookup table. You can also test the responses to see if all the answers are default so that if you change from a catalogue item to a custom item warning messages can be displayed and alternative item references are created
Supplement (Basket) Products
This is a special product that always runs when you save / update an order
It allows you to accumulate information from the item(s), and calculate additional charges for the whole order based on this data.
Report Generator
Off line advanced Report generator for management reporting, with reports, lists, diagrams, forms, labels, intelligent preview and comprehensive export functions. provides you with the opportunity to create custom print projects.
Custom Fields
Configur8or V3 Professional adds the ability to be able to define your own custom fields to the following sections in addition to the fully configurable Questions, Answers, Parts Routings and Pricing also available in the standard version:
Fields set up under this heading appear on the Order Details button during the processing of an order. These can be used for special pricing schemes, Reporting etc.
Fields set up under this heading appear on the bottom of the Items List of an order, In the supplements section (See supplement basket products above).
Fields Set up under this heading will appear on the Customer Details button, when setting up or amending a customer account. These can be used for special pricing schemes, Reporting etc.
Fields Set up under this heading will appear on the Account Details button, when setting up or amending an Account. These can be used for special pricing schemes, Reporting etc.
Advanced drawing features (Scaled Graphics)
Extended report drawing functionality (report drawings and real world scaled graphics).
Item Part Numbering
Allows you to write a formula to create a unique part number (as opposed to sequential serial number), that is associated to this item. For example you may check the responses to all the questions to generate this, so that should another identical item be subsequently ordered it would have the same part number.
External (Shared) Tables
On Configur8or v3 Professional you have the ability to set up External tables. This means you can set up: Parts Lists, Labour lists and Lookup Tables that can be used across all products. This is in addition to the product specific lists and tables of the standard version.
